Finally a WIP. This will be the last page of the book and I thought I would share it's progress with you as I did in Harold's Bike. Plus, it gives me a reason to get stuck into it rather than putting it off.
Anyway, early days but it might be fun for some of you to watch it develop from this. |

Oh No! it's the blue screen of death! Has his PC crashed :D
Joking aside, looks good Paul. I'm curious as to what will be on the right of the scene. You always have a good eye for composition.

Ah, nothing as 'suprising' as your outcomes Steve, this is simply a window looking onto blue skies as the boy keeps an eye out for the cloud he once met.
The boy will be very slightly aged (taller, head less round, darker hair etc.) and the kitchen will be much more detailed and I will go for that Rockwell sort of golden age americana look (I think).
Thanks for comments though, will post regular updates as I am able...:o |

i remember a kids book called 'the giving tree' which follows the relationship of a tree and a boy as he gets older, finishing with him as an old man, it's a bit sad though. |

For anyone wondering why the illustrations are so wide, this is how I wanted the book to be laid out; so each illustration is actually two pages...:D |

Thanks Butterpaw, I tried to post a 'mock up' of the book to illustrate what I meant but there seems to be a glitch somewhere.... |
