Dang!... You never warned us he was a handyman (or is that, computer repairman?)...hehehe. He's such a great character. Looks like he's getting ready for a new adventure :D |

If your open to suggestions Paul, then I'd tighten up the fit of his overalls on his body. At the moment they look a little 'eggy'. It's great to see the old lad back though. Are we going to get the full works like last time??? (I do hope so:D ) |

Always open to suggestions...;)
Must remember that Harold does have an 'egg' shaped body, but i did throw these overalls up this morning and they have no real 'thickness' to them so I am reworking them now. Remember how long it took to get him right for the last book...
As for the full works....well, I had better write the thing first...:D |

Worth noting that Harold is now a more 'SDS' version of the original model with the arms and torso being one smooth mesh and the overalls and legs being a complete mesh too. Hopefully, I will be able to use the new animation tolls in tS7.5 to pose this guy a little more dynamically this time...:D
Still early stages with a bit more detail to go...but not too much or it stops looking like the Harold of old...:) |

Yay! Harolds done a Terminator - He came bach! It's a little like reconnecting with an old friend.
I like the sound of more dynamic posing - have you got a new storyline for him yet?
Any plans to redo "Harolds Hair" with tS's new hair tools? (Only joking Paul - it's just that I really love that story.) |

better. the shoes don't blind, and the pants fit better. Like the cool 60's bell bottoms too :D somehow, they just fit. |

Great looking! The shoes do look much better...and is it just me, or does anyone else see a striking resemblance between Harold and the actor Matt Frewer, (most recently seen on Eureka on the Sci-fi channel)?? |

Darn it...as I look at this I hear a song in my head and those lyrics;
Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.
Depends how old you are...maybe I should put Harold back in his leather and add a cap... |

He's a belt and suspenders kind of guy.
It shows he's prepared for any emergency.
The coveralls could be sporting a hammer loop (although maybe not for that particular hammer) and leg tool pockets.
Because you can't have too many tools, or too many pockets. |

I like this guy a lot. He is really my kind of style. Does his mouth move? I'd love to see him talk. |

It might just be me but this has had me in giggles! Splinters points out visual references to a certain group who, contrary to the visuals portrayed, where not of a super-dooper-rufty-tufty persuasion, and then spacekdet mentions he's a belt and suspenders kinda guy! Over here suspenders means a very different thing and I think it'll b a while before kids books tackle those subjects! |

cool character .... I take it you already have him set up for animation?
I think the blue jean material is too noisy. Are you going to use real textures or cartoony ones? |

Nice Splinters! Harold is lookin' pretty gangsta!! Only one thing I would suggest is to maybe make the color of the overalls a little more simple; the color is a bit too busy... I don't really know how to explain it... It just looks kinda weird... I think it would be a better texture for something like a carpet. This is just my opinion, you don't have to listen to me at all, I just want to tell you what I think! Other than that, it looks great!!:D

Haha, Harold is back, well once I write it maybe.
Anyway, always start with the cover I say...Just started a few hours ago so a long way to go but...is it too cryptic? |

is it too cryptic?
I think it is a little. What about some sort of outline around the parts that make up the letters? |

Agree with Hemulin. I think the overall design is great..but the "house" is a bit hard to read..espcially the u and s. To be honest..the h kinda looks like an a. |

Still a bit off... How about a single-color transparency in each letter shape to put in front of the house?
EDIT - something like this maybe?

Using a smaller thinner gray pipe leading up to the U might make that standout better without having to do outlines... |
