I tried macro recording a few sweeps, scale, rotate and tip..to make a process repeatable, but it either didn't record everything?? or run to create an identical process, why?

I tried a few different script recordings with the same results..

this would be very handy :D

Hi Stan currently the macro selection for a lot of the tools in Point edit mode in the player do not record and apply to other objects correctly, scale and rotate do not work as good as intended.


The good news is some of the issues with this type of point edit recording and applying of macros have been solved and there are plans being made to implement these additional tasks to be recorded and applied to selections which should be seen in a future release.


Once this is implemented the point edit macro will become an invaluable and also a very powerful and versatile tool.


Even now in its limited state, if you record a macro , and although it only records and applies sweep , you can build and link several of these macros together in a chain to apply to a selection .
