Can anyone tell me how to remove the animation tag from a head modified with the facial animator. I just want the modified mesh to be regarded as a standard polygonal mesh that's not looking for the plugin.

I take it you also want to maintain the animation you created within the FA...?


No clue there.


If you want just the mesh, you just select the FA head and select 'copy'..will create a new object with all the deformations you may have made to it... sans any animation. No longer linked back to the Facial Animator.

Thanks Humdinger. Simple and effective solution. I originally copied the head to a library, and when I dropped it inot a new scene, it was still animated. Just the way the library works I suppose.
