Does anyone know of a way to centre a group of objects onto another object's faces? I'm looking for something like pointclone or the geometry paint tool, but which snaps to the centre of a face. Is there any way to make the geo paint tool more precise?

Thanks

Todd, if you already upgraded to ts6.6 you can do that with my plugin 'the object panel 1.5' [the link to it is in garage]
first select the face click 'get obj' , then select the object you want to center on face, click the 'S' button to retain the size of the object, then click once [roll scrollwheel back and forth one click] in location to locate it,[x,y or z doesn't matter] then once in rotation to transfer the rotation of face..

OK thanks Stan. I have downloaded your excellent plugin but don't fully understand it yet. I'll give that a whirl.
