Sometime back I vagually remember a tsx that would "jiggle" the vertexs of a selected object.

That tsx is long gone and was wondering how it can be done in ts7.

Any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

Hi tscorpio,

You're talking about Wiggly. It's a part of Cool Powers which is open source and freeware now. You can get it from here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/freecp/

I haven't tried it yet, but the same thing should be doable natively in TS7 via scripting. Loop through the verts and add a small (adjustable) random amount based on the size of the object to each vert's x,y,z value.

Hope that helps!

!!!! OK, the idea of scripting something like that sounds very appealing to me.

(Being a programmer by day and all...)

I have never gotten into scripting like I'd like. Can you point me in a good direction? Maybe even some sample code to look at?

The ts7 libraries have lots of examples.

Tons of scripts available in there for the reviewing.

There is the ts7DG.pdf file(developer doc). That should give you an idea of how things are being done so far.

Lots of examples in forums as well.
