I also noticed that plastiforms crashes pretty often...

Is it normal?

I have a dual xeon 3000 workstation, 3 gigs ram, ati fregl x2 card...

usually things are pretty stable on my machine..

Hi kurageart,

I think crashing is pretty normal for the plastiform tools and there's not much in the way of undo, so you'll want to save often before using them. Also I don't thing there is any way to animate it, but you could set up a camera and manually render frames as you work...

Depending on what you're trying to do, for animation anyway, metaballs or particles might work better...
