- Go to the Preferences view in the stack

- Check the tickbox for Lights in the Link Editor section

- Locate the the light in the Link Editor

- Go to the Expanded or Advanced aspect for the light

- Increase the Map Size value

This needs to be done for each light. Increasing the map size also decreases performance in the Player workspace - it will get more sluggish with increased shadow quality.

or increase the slider of the filtering quality.
This will blur the shadows (at least Pixelshader 2 GPU needed here).

Exactly - that's hardware dependant. Does nothing on my graphics card, but increasing the shadow map size works on all systems.

I think it needs to be Pixelshader 2.1. I have a Radeon 9800 Pro which I believe is PS 2.0 and there is no shadow filtering yet with a lowly 6100 inbuilt graphics chipset on another PC I get all bells and whistles....progress eh?
