Hi... I was wondering how to clone characters using MoStu

Let's say I have a bird flyng follwing a path..

How to create Several birds with the same motion flingh togheter in a "formation"?

Tryng to copy a character, even if everething looks fine, when I try to move bones won't control the actual mesh... :(

Hmm. Strange. I am sure that simply copy worked with older Mostu version. Now it doesn't with the newest version. Gives me your described destroyed animations. Seems that newest Mostu is in trouble with renaming the skeleton proper. And so mostu cannot sort the two skeletons apart anymore.

Anyway. Select your bird. Save it as object. RENAME your first bird in the Mostu Panel. Tests showed that else it makes the same trouble than with simply copying. Then load your saved bird back into scene. Should work now. Did at least for me, have tested it.

Note: better be careful with Mostu animating when you have more than one separate skeleton in the scene. Recording keyframes in the Mostu Panel could make fun by recording keyframes to the other mesh. I did a step between in this case: modifying the second skeletton, like move all keyframes a bit forward so that they are not longer synchronized with the original, save it as modified object, load the original scene, and load the modified sprite to the scene.

Recording keyframes in the Scene editor is also a very special chapter. After that you cannot longer delete keyframes in Mostu at the same position where there are keyframes in the SE. Has to do with the way Mostu works. So you have to think a bit. You cannot easily fix your animation once you have set keyframes for a path in the SE for example.

try to save your character as Object and load this Object in your scene.
