I seem to remember Roman mentioning they might be bought or won...Only guaranteed way is to invest in trueServe then you have your own private server.
Still, five thousand dollars for that...:o |

No, what I mean is...we used to be able to enter shared space and make "rooms". The go there and create stuff and leave it there. I'm not sure if this can still be done cause when I enter the "workshops" and control drag to copy a labs gateway so that I can rename it to what I want...it does initially copy but about 10 seconds later it disappears. |

This was actually what Paul was answering :)
It is not currently possible to make your own space, no - not without purchasing trueServe, which will let you run your own server and make as many spaces as you like, and control who can access those spaces, etc.
There are future plans to make spaces available to individuals, but these will not be free (since they carry an overhead of bandwidth and maintenance). No date is given on this yet, but it's part of our future plans.
If you own trueSpace7, you can join shared spaces there in which everyone can create objects etc. However you have no ownership of the space - while you can create an object, anyone else logged in can modify it, etc. You also still can't create new spaces of your own, you can only log into the ones that Caligari have created.

Hi Emma,
Posting on the forums is not a good way to get replies from customer and tech support - I always say that while we dont mind people posting here, it does mean your post may be missed, and you won't get the reply you deserve.
I can't comment on why you have those problems, as they are not problems I have heard anyone having. We expect to get people interested in trueServe as it works for the large majority of people :) We will be happy to help diagnose your problems, just email tech support and they can check through your system and set-up and see if they can identify cause and solution.
HTH!
