I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I've not found a category where I can ask questions regarding this forum.

So I do it here, because it is a kind of technical question.

I want to know how I can add a tutorial to the new category "Tutorium".

Currently it is only possible to start a new thread if you select the "VRay Interior Lighting"-Tutorial.

But then the tutorial can only be found in this category.

The question of how such a tutorial has to be is also unanswered. I have a tutorial online at my page for example. And two as zipfiles. Wouldn't make sense for me to rewrite then as a thread. Especially the zipped ones are zipped for good reason ;)

Have a look at this link, where the Tutorium was requested and implemented:

Basically: you write your tutorial, post it here and then request Norm move it into the Tutorium area.

First Email Norm and ask him to create a New Thread for you under "Tutorium"
Create your tutorial and when finished ask Norm to close. Have a link at the end of your tutorial to your Question and Answer thread. (which I believe Norm sets up too).
The Tutorium will be easier to use if everyone creates it the same way as Prodigy. We want the Tutorials to be an online library, with all tutorial looking similiar.
I am available to anyone needing a check of their English Translation.
In the Title mention TS version your tutorial would apply.

Alright, that means my tutorials out.

What about a link to the truespace tutorial link list and make it sticky at the top of the tutorium category? That would include the still available external user written tutorials too :)

Sorry. I'm new to this forum.

How can I send an email to Norm?

Click on "Members List" and Look for "Norm" then use "Send A Private Message To Norm" on the right

I would suggest that the Tutorium is there for forum based tutorials. If you wished to create a tutorial here on forums, that is best place for such project. If however you already have a tutorial on website or such, then perhaps the Tech Forum would be good place to describe it and link to it.

... or elsewhere if appropriate, such as ts6 and older forum for ts6 or older tutorials.

The good thing about posting it here directly is: no broken links. How many tutorial links have you found broken on other sites? I bet about 50%.
