this is a graphic I'm doing for myself for a silk screen project/company called "burb". Because it will be silk screened, it must be flat colors. I will only be printing one color so it needs to be black and white only. So I figured the toon shader would work great!

what do you think? critiques welcome....

I think it looks really cool! I wouldn't change too much, but you might want to get more critiques before calling it "Finished Artwork".

Not directly related to this, but how do you activate this "toons" shader?

I really like it. Only thing I don't get is the three 'bunches of grapes' at the bottom. I'm assuming they're meant to be trees in which case taking some of their inside detail out to leave more of an outline might give a better impression (probably easiest in post in your paint prog than trying to trick tS). Only a small comment on what I think is a pretty cool pic/logo. Congrats.

I used this one:

You place the shader in to your materials folder in your Truespace Program folder on your hard drive. It will then show up in your materials window.

I know what you mean about the trees ... I'll figure out a fix to that. I was trying to figure out a way to keep the trees "dimentional" so I could rotate the sphere if I needed to ... but I faked the electric wires (they go nowhere in the background) ... so I guess I could do that with the trees too.

thanks for the input everyone.
