Hello,

Anyone heard if TS has any designs on working with the new Vista feature of distributed computing to pool CPU power through a network?

The applicaiton would of course have to be written to use that feature, but as soon as I saw it shown today, my immediate thought was hoping TS would utilize it someday!

The tS7 architecture is designed with a message passing kernel, so although there is no word from Caligari about using Vista's distributed computing ability yet, the application is ready for it. The Player side physics engine can already use multiple machines for the physics calculations when connected via trueSpace and indeed truePlay itself is possible because of the message passing kernel.
