I was wondering if there was ever any chance of special offers for upgraders to TS 7 or 7.5 when its released. I ask because I regularly see specials for folks new to TS but the rest of us never get a peep. e.g Currently new folks can get TS and a heap of tutorial materials.


I don't mean for now either. I mean for when TS 7.5 comes out as I want the new tools (unless of course your offering a free upgrade to 7.5 on release ;) )


I am asking this as I have a small amount of money to spend at the end of the month.

 There are often offers for Paks and training tutorials don't forget. :)

 Hi all,


We have regularly offered tS7 to users of tS6.6 and earlier, at lower prices than general offers on the websites. Sometimes it's just a low price, sometimes it's a great bundle with extras, but always a good deal. So offers like the one on the website with a heap of tutorials have gone out to tS6, tS5 and earlier users, repeatedly in fact since the release of tS7.


Naturally, these go out by email only (since each group has unique pricing, it would be messy to put it on the web and let people find the offer that applies to them!). So on the website, you will only see the offers that go to new users.


To see the ones directed at specific users, you need to ensure you are subscribed to receive these specials, and you need to check your junk mail filters to ensure mail from caligari.com is allowed through (since we have many people to mail and it goes through an automated process, many junk filters will treat it as spam unless you tell it not to).


There have even been offers in the past of "buy tS7 now, and get tS7.5 on its release", done back for SIGGRAPH in 06 for instance.


And a look at the history books will show that we always do pre-release specials - if you order before the release of the program, you get an extra savings on the upgrade price. So that will happen before 7.5 hits the shelves, users of 7.0 and earlier will get a chance to purchase their upgrade at a savings on the regular upgrade price - but again those offers will go out by email, so ensure you are receiving the Caligari special offers, otherwise you'll miss out!


If you are interested in that sort of offer, best to check you are getting those offers sooner rather than later, to make sure you don't forget to investigate and get it set up so you are all ready when the offer comes around.
