I have a two part question.
The first regarding collision and the second regarding camera usage.
The first question is:
I turned on collision with all and when I export the scene in direct x
format, collision is not enabled. It might be the program that I am
loading the scene into that doesn't turn it on but, am I missing something
here or what? Do I need to assign collision to each object individually?
the second question is:
Can I view my scene through my camera and set up collision with the
ground and 'walk' around my scene viewing it through the camera?
(using walking keys like W, A, S, and D for control etc.) |

Hi...
For the Second Question .. You can, but you cannot up a stair for example..
4984
On the Next release of TS 7.5, far as i know we gonna have the First Person navigation with gravity and other good stuffs, but be supported only on the "workspace" side.. Like Trueplace or better Trueplay :D
Hope that helps.. |

Ok,
how do I enable that mode?
I think I found that... but what keys are bound to the walking and can I configure them?
I want to switch to camera view and walk around the scene with collision enabled.
Edit :
Ok, I discovered how to switch to camera view. Can I walk my scene colliding with terrain and objects?
If yes, what keys are bound to the camera mode?
Edit:
Learning as I go here...
I was able to navigate the scene and colliding with my objects using the mouse and the 3D control but,
that is very sensitive and not very comfortable for me. Really what I would like to do is walk using keyboard
and mouse. Also, configure the settings for speed etc. I think that you kind of answered that in the last post
Prodigy but, I would like clarification. |

Well now i think you can do what you want. saving your scene on Trueplay format.. then you are able to walk.. colisionate with objects and walk throw the scene with keys.. :)
But you must have Truespace7.11 ;)
If you dont have i can save for you the scene.. and then you can walktrow..
Is the best i can imagine.. |

If you are talking about doing this in tS7.11 Player side, you can enable Camera Collision in the Preferences. You need to assign Physic material to camera too. |
