Thanks délé, :)

At diference, thats a single texture and rotating the uv can move like waves..

I mean about an animated texture loops with the same uv position.

For other application, remember when NEO (matrix) whe he touch the mirror and that it became like water?? that just making a texture with ripples..but we need animated textures to make that..... I think its very very usesfull, I think is something not to much complicated.. Just in each frame change the texture and with the option to loop or not.

Thanks délé :)

In fact..any texture must have the posibility to be animated..

Bump Mapping, Color Texture, Shader mapped, Displacent Mapping. Alpha Mapping.

Are totally needed any texture has the animated option...

This is a pretty old animation now, but shows the displacement map in action.
All motion is procedural, thanks to Délé's excellent scripts.:)

You're welcome prodigy!!:)

Sorry for rolling eyes, I changed it.

I just checked out Délé's Texture Animator in the latest beta and it still works.

Link is here:

I know it's not everything you're looking for but it works for real-time,
not sure about Vray. Just shows that these things can be done in tS.
It's just that some things don't happen as fast as you and I might wish.:)

yup... that is true..

I just want to know, or i will post on Feature Sugestion thread! :D

Seriously, i finde texture animated are very very usesfull.

Anim Texture = Make a TV

Anim Alpha = if you have a texture animated like a tree you need the Alpha.

Anim Bump Mapping = Make Water

Anim Shader Mapping = Fake Caustics under the water attached to the walls of the pool. (for example..)

Anim Displacent Mapping = Make Waves, Ripples (Displacent its much much better than bumpmapping)

these are few reasons why we need animated textures on each part..

Here is a video. Nothing special but it shows animated displacement with multiple images (88 frames here). This was done using the Texture Animator script I posted a while back. I'll try to write a better version specifically for this use. :)
