ok situation is... I am building a wall and parts of it will be curved. Well when I used the bend tool on my block it does not bend it like one would think.. i.e superman bending a steel bar...it does not bend in the middle rather is kinda flares the bottom out. Here is a screen cap to show what mean. Help clues on how to get a nice bend in my block?

Looks as if you need to change the bend axis by using some of the bend tool widget's controls. Takes a bit of playing with to accomplish and the lack of numerical input leaves a bit to be desired. Also, the bend tool only works with existing geometry. It doesn't add more, so if you want a nice smooth bend you'll probably need to quad divide a few times for the example object above.
