Am I doing anything wrong here? I just fired up 7.5 for the first time and find it an impossible interface, I see no icons, just text, see included image

Hi Matski,

Very interesting. You could change each toolbar's aspect from 1D to 2D by selecting the triangle on the toolbar's right handle. Might want to overwrite your layout too after your changes. Other then that you might need to contact Caligari's Technical Support.

This is a problem that has occurred during the beta, but only on Vista systems. If you're not on a Vista (or maybe XP 64) system then I think the developers would want to know about your system and software specs since that could help in finding a solution.

I believe it only occurs in the 64 bit version, but I can't remember.

I had this problem but it was fixed in one of the later betas. My icons show up fine in the release. It's obviously the same problem though. ;)

Have you guys updated to the new x64 nVidia drivers released last week? This definitely looks like it's a 64 bit problem. Also I'd check and see if you're missing any windows updates as well.

Hmmm.... looks like you're missing some tabs across the top too.

One thing you can try is on the long bottom tool bar -- find 'New Scene' (fifth selection from the left), when it expands select 'Reset to Default Context'. Don't panic, the whole thing is going to disappear for a few seconds while it resets itself and then come back on. Sometimes it takes another few seconds for the libraries to pop back in.

See whether that will bring up the 2D icons. :)

I still see no icons, tech support were unable to help me, they just pointed me towards this forum saying that this is as good a response as any. Im not very happy I must say, to say that they spent so long working out bugs lol
