Greetings, the title of the thread says it all really.
I keep getting Truespace is snot installed when I try to install the pak.
Any chance of a fix?

We will provide the fixes shortly. This is just naming problem most plug-ins work fine with TS7.5 there may be even workaround, maybe some Beta testers can help. |

I remember a similar problem after 7.0 release. If you had the conversion pack already installed (for 6.6). you could simply copy the relevant files into your tS7 directory...not ideal if you don't have them though...:o |

Here is a list of files to copy. I didn't test them except to import a dwg file.
stlexport.dll
opendwg.dll
adinit.dat
acisdll.dll
iges_04.dbt
tronexport.dll
swfview.dll
vetsdk.dll
Copy from \truespace7\ts to \truespace75\ts |

The fix below will work, copying the files across. The reworked installation is not released yet however, but it will be done soon (you can guess at this point in time that we have every available body working on the tS7.51 release for the moment!).

Sorry to bring up old news but I cannot install the conversion pack in ts751. Was this fix ever published?
Also, I will be working through setting up the rest of my plugins so expect whiny pleas where I cannot find the answer.

I get the same error also trying to install conversion pak 2.1 on to my new computer. It is a quad core Q6700 with 4 gig ram and a Nvidia 8600GT vid card running on Vista Home premium 64 bit edition. I will try to copy the files listed below from my other PC and bring them to the new one but I am disappointed that they have not made a new exe to resolve this known issue.

Check your repeat downloads...a new version was released and I installed fine in 7.51...:D |

Thanks for the reply Splinters. I did re-download and it still said "could not find truespace" but I copied the files listed below and loaded them on the new PC and it worked. So the new "save as" choices did show up.
