Nothing too urgent but still a bit of a mystery to me. After installing TS 7.5 I fired TruePlay to see whether there was any life in the TruePlaces, but now, when I try to login from within The Lobby, I get the message "Connection refused due to different network interface version".

Well, I didn't change anything, the only major change has been the installation of TS 7.5. Anyone any ideas how this came about, and how to solve it? I wouldn't want to miss future openings, egg-hunts, or works posted in the WIP-gallery

Well ... sometimes it just requires a new install. I did, and it works. So when you encounter the same problem, just install the latest version of TruePlace. I don't know what happened, but since it works I don't mind :o

Aha! I just passed the "senior member" threshold! Time to grow a moustache. Oh no, better not ... my children would kick me out of the house.

It appears that tS7.5 and truePlay store their port settings in the same registry entry "local_machine/software/caligari truespace7.5" and tS7.5 for some reason has a different port setting to truePlay.

Anyway a quick way (without having to reinstall truePlay) is just to set the truePlay port back to what it was. You can do this by installing the registry entry attached.
MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY/MAKE A RESTORE POINT FIRST!!

Hemulin, that's definitely an elegant and knowledgeable solution! Thanks on behalf of the forum users who now don't have to follow my inefficient method.

No problem, note that this was done on XP, I am not sure if it will work on Vista as the registry structure for Vista may be different, I will have to check on this.
