I am going through the tS 7.5 manual, brush displacement map section 3.9.3. I am trying to load a brush texture per the instructions. When I double click the "brush texture" text or rectangle (really its a square) next to the text I do not get a dialog box to load a bitmap. What do I need to do to load a bitmap

Thanks Daybe, I guess the updated manual will have the "cntrl" key mentioned (that might be important). I did manage to load the texture but the rest of the tutorial does not seem to flow as described in the manual either until I selected "custom profile" in the BDM panel. That will also need to be added to the updated manual.

Here is a question... is there a way to keep the poly count from going too high in the editor when using displacement maps? In other words, while your working, you can have a reduced poly count to keep from slowing TS down as you work, and then durring render time... all those nice polies get thrown into the mix, thus creating a nice (high detailed) image from a displacement map- pretty much like any other app does with displacement mapping I guess you could say... Lightwave would be a good example of this
