trueParticles is a model side tool that uses a hierarchy to track the particles, so it does not translate to the WorkSpace. If you want the particles in a still image in Workspace then go to the frame required in Model view, select the particle system and choose the "Decompose into objects" icon. This will allow the particles on the current frame to be seen in Workspace.

If you need the particles in an amination then render from Model view.

Ive tested trueparticles and it is possible to have realtime animation in workspace.

Just cntrl drag kfe in model to layout. and then set up particles in model.

Once thats done switch to workspace. Press play on model kfe in workspace view and particles will play. bridge must be activated for this to work.

Getting them to interact in physim with particle sim is the tricky part.

Would be great to have the particles bounce off keyframed objects and skeletons in workspace sim. Can you see a solution?
Right now, that does not seem possible as it seems it should be.

This used to be possible in model when you used bones to vertex tool, for example I could have character walk into a stream of particles and paticles would deflect and collide off the character.

Now that was and would be cool.
