Does anyone running tS7.5 on Vista (32bit) have any problems deleting tS files such as scenes and objects etc.?

I usually have trouble if I try to delete stuff in a single session but I can sometimes remove a file after a reboot. However, if I try to delete the contents of a folder it will often do it but the last file it will hang when sending to the recycle bin (or deleting directly).

Damned annoying.

I have one .scn file on my desktop that just will not delete, I cannot even R-Click and open it's properties anymore and trying to change name or extension just causes a system hang...it just will not go. I have tried all the advanced owner and UAC options but to no avail. I only seem to have real trouble with tS related files.

Anyone else?

I have noticed something simular only when tS7 is running while tring to perform what you said. When it is not running I have had no problems like you mention.

hmmm ... does the machine have any hard drives with write caching?
Sometimes a lock on file that has not been written to hard drive can present this type of scenario. Windows may tell you the file is being used by someone or such.
