It should be in the UV Editor I thought.

Also, if I rt click on a material in the stack, there's an export function - but it looks like it only exports the D3D material (.rsmat)

I think initially there were two icons for this, but more functionality was added and the two icons ended up getting merged together with the export options moved to a panel:

6175

6176

The first icon you show should have been export UV texture (or similar) the other is export to file and the one with arrow should be export to image editor (such as Photoshop)...not sure what happened here...:o

While we are discussing the workspace uv mapping editor, could I ask a couple of questions ?

The first one: I figured out how to zoom, but once zoomed - can you navigate left and right or up and down ? I'm talking of the view, not the object.

The second one: Can we snap to grid inside of it ?

:)

1.) Middle drag pans left and right.

2.) Not yet... but you should be able to use the scale part of the widget align UV points horizontally or vertically.

Also right click drag in the upper right corner of the widget will give you a uniform scale.

Is it necessary to post it in the bug forum?

No the second one was purposefully removed because both functionality is included in the one icon. See my post above.
