OK - V-Ray users.. I need help
How do you change the Workpace to wireframe or transparent with wire?
How do you paint individual faces of an object?
I clicked on the paint face tool, but it would not paint the faces...
Is this a bug? |

See Steinies screen cap, bottom toolbar, the blue cube (sixth icon along) - solid, wireframe, etc, options and solid or wire grid options are in there, just like you're used to.
Edit: ah, Prodigy beat me to it! |

I can't see what I'm painting in wireframe so I used the transparent wireframe. I'm not having any problems painting faces. It doesn't like painting faces while in point edit mode.
You may find it easier to see what you're doing to paint with a solid color and then use the paint-over (roller brush icon) to click on your painted area to apply the transparent material. I painted on the vRay glass material. I did have to put something inside of my sphere to show that the area painted is, indeed transparent. |

Hmm.... that doesn't look right. Looks like another one for the bug list. Any idea what you were doing right before that happened?

Lost power to the apartment for a half second and pc rebooted.
EDIT - found how to fix it...
Just clicked on one of the Icons for the Workspace Material editor. I chose inspect.

Double click the red sphere in the ME and use a Vray material. You have Inspected a Non Vray material. Use Workspace ME for Vray and Model ME for all others. |
