I'm not 100% sure - have you tried right clicking the weighting tool to see if there are some colour/display options you can modify? |

You can change the bone shape, solid/wire, and color on the skeleton node in the LE.
Set a window to 2d (black button in upper right corner of the window). Then locate the 2d node for your character. Click on the orange box in the upper right corner of the character's node to enter it.

Then select the skeleton node and click the "default" tab. On this node there are many options for the skeleton. You can change the shape and set it to solid or wire from the drop down list. You can also change the color and other options.

Hmm...I just noticed that changing the bone color doesn't appear to be working. Must be a bug. |

It not the bones its the weight painting layer its all white and not the blue yellow green gradiant. I cant see what changes im making and though minor the joint constraints are also all white not the tan and orange they are in the manual. |

what graphics card you use? it looks like problem with fallback versions of some shaders. (unless you played within /Widgets..)
try manually adjust shader version if it helps or not and let us know. |

Dele: If I uncheck "Use Chararacter Editor color settings" bone color works. Is that what you see? |
