It's 5;47am and I've been up playing with tS 7.5 all night.

I've built a gnome complete with red pointy hat. I've created several hair objects and some polygon thongs to tie his jacket. He looks very smart apart from being stuck in the traditional 'vitruvian man / heck of a way to spend Easter' pose.

So I've made him a lovely skeleton and connected him up. I can move him about and the mesh deforms as expected - but his hair and extra bits don't attach to the skeleton :( . Clearly I'm missing some vital step and I can't get my head around it.

I would be most grateful if anyone can through some light on this issue for me. I have the gnomes body and hair objects linked in a hierarchy - is this the appropriate method? I also vaguely recall something about turning the hair objects into ordinary poly objects but I might well be imagining that!

I'm off to bed now but would appreciate anyone's input on this . Thanks in advance

When you attach skin to bone you have to select all of you objects. IE:Body, Hair1, Hair2, etc... They should highlight when moused over and change color when selected.

Brilliant! Thanks Blue - I knew I was making it too complicated and that the answer would be really simple. You've given me the vital step to move on to my next stumbling block! :D
