I've had this now a few times so I'm sure I'm not doing anything wrong...

I have a group of chairs and when I Save As a scene the group scales down to be tiny

If one is selected during the Save As it stays the same size and all the chairs in the same group become tiny

The objects are scaled:

X=0.564
Y=1.405
Z=0.860

-and they change to

X=0.079
Y=0.196
Z=0.120

Lilliputian. And wipes out much work.

Please what's going on I'm running 7.11 because 7.5 lets me down, bit fed up. Now 7.11 is being unpredictable... I set all the objects into Layer 3 in case Layers > 10 causes problems is this a known problem please?

Peter have you tried normalizing their scale using the axis tools?

Thanks Jack I'll do that. It doesn't hurt to do that to objects that are copies of one object I see, the object doesn't change scale when I do that but this function does something somewhere that locks the scale down perhaps. This was happening when re-starting an animation run, all is ok and then when the first frame comes up the objects suddenly become tiny. Who ordered that :)

I deleted all the animation (before seeing your advice) and started again and it happened again but then it went away in the end. As I create the copies in future I'll normalise their scale and cross fingers thanks ever so much I was getting into a panic because earlier versions of the scene were starting to do the same thing but now you come to mention it :) this has only ever happened to these particular objects (Vizu's smashing folding chairs) - will normalise scale after creating copies in future cheers mate!
