Back in the old 7.0 days I managed to save a scene so it could be opened in truePlay. Now I do not remember how I did, and perhaps there are changes to this in new versions. I try in different ways but get only an empty scene and sometimes an object loading error message.

How should I do? I can't find anything in the manual.

truePlay should load all tS7.5 scenes (saved as *.RsScn) directly. No need for "export to Rsscn" anymore like in v7

Well not for me :-(

truPlay does not load tS 7.5 RsScn files but tS 7.1 files load correctly. I tested with scene files that came with tS7.1 and tS7.5.

I reinstalled truePlay 1.21 to be on the safe side, but it still does not work.

Yeah, .RsScn files aren't opening in tP for me either. TruePlay opens, but the scene doesn't load. I guess tP needs another update.

I wonder if tP is getting a similar makeover to tS7.5. And no, I don't know...Caligari have all the necessary icons now to remake tP2.0 in the same visual style as 7.5.

I am just curious as the UI certainly looks better...:D

You may be right Splinters, I wonder too.

Not being able to open TS7.5 Rsscn files with truePlay is a real problem for those of us who are/were planning to send 7.5 Models and Scenes to others for remote examination in truePlay. I hope this gets fixed very fast, there will be a lot of people affected by this.

This is my only reason to use tS7.5 instead of tS6.6 so also I really hope that Caligari will fix this a s a p.

Well I'm beginning to think that Splinters is very intuitive! ;)

If you read the latest Captains Blog entry from Roman (and the one just before it) it indicates that the truePlace code is being brought up to TS7.5 standards from the current 7.0 standard. That would necessitate making truePlay fully compatable with TS7.5, so apparently Splinters is correct. :D

So the compatability issue IS already being worked on, now lets just hope that it happens very soon.
