Is someone here who can manage the UV Editor in workspace and use it effective?
If I rotate a side, I do not see it rotated on my object.
If I do the same in model UV Editor it works  |

I would call this a bug when i wouldn't think that the new UV Editor isn't really finished yet. And so i am not sure if a bug report at the UV Editor really makes sense at all.
Currently i cannot work with it anyway. Missing functionality. Try to planar map a face and then try to give it a UV Space of 20 in width and height so that it fits to other faces that ideally also has UV Space of 20 width and height so that the stuff fits together and you know what i mean :) |

I'm not altogether clear on what you're asking. Is this what you're trying to do? |

Yes Heidi thanks. And why it works with your editor?
Is there a trick? I think I did the same but nothing happened.
Then I went into modelers editior and it works. |

With the UVE open I selected the face I wanted in the workspace, which also selected it in the UVE. In the UVE, I sliced selected triangles away from rest of UV's. I then rotated the selected UVs it in the UVE. See whether that works for you.
BTW... if you have a bump map applied, that has to be rotated separately. In the UVE stack, the color map is in UV1 and the bump map is in UV2 (at least they are in mine). :) |

Thank you. :) In the meantime it worked, and I don't know why. |

I sometimes get a weird problem in the workspace uv editor. After I apply a projection and go into the uv editor and move the selection my mouse cursor vanishes and I have to restart TS to get the cursor back, but for some reason today everthing in the uv editor works fine.
oops nevermind just retried before posting all you have to do is apply your projection and leave the projection widget alone just leave it and go into the uv editor and use the uv widget to move the uv selection. I sometimes forget to exit out of the uv projection and go right into the uv editor

Dononeton what you're describing the the cursor disappearing is a bug. But you're right that it only happens if you forget to exit the projection widget.

Sorry for waiting so long to reply, I forgot about this
I would say it is a bug. Just imagine unwrapping a human and you are at the last set of uv's and forget to exist the uv projection widget and entered the uv editor, boy you'll be ticked off! |
