Hi!

1) Is there a list of trueSpace specific commands.

2) And, would those allow me to switch between cameras in a group ... and then name and render that frame to file?

Not sure if this will help but the following thread has excellent references and links on trueSpace and python.

Hope that helps!

Hi again Tim,

First off I hope those links in my previous reply here help you on the specific questions you had, in particular seek out the "tspython" download referred to there for specifics.

I have another thought regarding python with truespace in the context of rendering also...

I have an old version of Poser 4 which has a very cool customizable "Sketch Render" utility which I'm pretty sure is written entirely in python. The thing is, truespace has nothing like that.....yet.;)

In that version of Poser you can bring any image into that utility and render it out with absolutely fantastic editing control as a sketch, with the results being something looking anywhere from a chalk sketch to an extremely elaborate finepoint pencil sketch.

Seems to me that a talented python writer may be able to incorporate that concept within trueSpace7.xx rendering via the LE (Link Editor) and the python scripting module of trueSpace.

Food for thought? :D
