Ok, I just opened TrueSpace 7.5 on my laptop, and when I try to put an object out there, it's invisible, and when I render it, it's invisible. I know it's there because when I double click the center button of my mouse to look at my object, it looks at where it should be. Maybe it's just because my laptop is too slow, but I've run TS 7.5 on here before, so I really don't know. It's probably something stupid I'm doing, and I would attatch a video, but I don't know how to record a video on my laptop, so if anyone could tell me how to do that, that would be great! Any help greatly appreciated!! :)

One possibility is if your Settings Tab/Scene/Surface Opacity is set too low your object will be invisible. Not sure about the rendering problem.

K, I can do everything fine in the 6.6 layout, but not in the 7.5 one, so I can't use the new TS 7.5 tools!! And I don't know how to get to that Steinie (thanks for the reply), but I don't think I messed with any settings. I can see the object in both views if I create it in the 6.6 view, but in neither if I create it in the 7.5 view. Long story short, I can only view my scene in the 7.5 view, and I can make the scene in the 6.6 view. Oh, and how can I create a video of it with just my laptop so I can attatch it here?

Just a guess; could it be that the object is so far away that it 'seems' invisible? It happened to me, so... keep zooming in till your sure that's not the issue.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think that's it. I'll zoom in, make the object bigger, but it won't do anything.

Thanks for the reply; it is set on auto though... I'm pulling together some screenshots since I don't know how to make a video of it, so just a sec and I'll post those...

Here are some screeenshots; I'll probably send more later. Thanks for replies! The pics are kinda low res...... If anyone has trouble seeing them I could try some higher res. ones.

Here are some more screenshots.

Oops, forgot to label the third pic.... You are able to see the sphere in Workspace and Model tabs.

Unselect the X, Y, and Z axis locks and you will be fine.
