I tried some different render engines. (It's only a test object nothing serious)

1. A screencopy of the workspace

2. A LW HDRI render

3. A VRay HDRI render

What do you think?

It's the VRay material from the library, but it seems much better

as a DX shader and a lightworks shader instead of VRay.

I think the reason is that in your VRay picture you don't have the right "composition"

You are rendering a reflective material here, so you need something to be reflected, but as it looks you just have an HDRI as a background. In Workspace true reality is simulated, but for the rendered image you have to create the true environment.

Attached is a VRay rendering where I simply put some planes around to reflect the light. Your Workspace is darker, to get the same result rendered you would have to arrange same level of lights.

Compare the two different lightnings to see the difference of appearance.

It is a normal map shader with much reflectance, and I used HDRI to

see many reflections. But the VRay picture is flat without mirroring

the ambient. Because it was so dark, I boosted the light.

There was an issue with V-Ray not finding normal maps. It has been addressed already.
