Hi weaveribm. I saved this on my PC as an RsObj, but do not have access to that right now.
I think what you can do is this:
In the 3dview, select the flag. Then, save as an Rsobj.
RsObj is the default file format, so when you do this and type in a name, all the components should be saved as part of that RsObj: The original plane object, the Master Timer, the Spring Animator, Dele's Wind Generator (if you have that particular file loaded of course), and the output mesh.
In the LE, you can delete the Vertex Listers if you want; they were for troubleshooting only.
Changing the number rows and columns (and therefore number of vertices) would be easy to do.
For the camera animation, there are several ways to do this. One way is:
keyframe the camera movement, and get the motion correct
Then setup truespace to record from the workspace. This will save a sequence of bmp images
then, in the LE, press the Start Timer for the flag
Then, press the Animation Play button
I believe this is the correct order of events. This will move the camera while the flag is waving, and record this to still images, which you would then compile into an animation using a video editor.
HTH!

That's very kind of you Frootee thanks, I'll have a bash at the weekend
Immediately after chatting about this my friend doing the directing of our small community-based movie asked about a beach scene and I thought of using your scripting for waves crashing on to the beach. I suppose TS can't tell if it's a small rectangle of material or a cubic ton of seawater as long as there are vertexes :)
