Hi All,

Picked up TS7.5 back in July and have been fiddling with a demo project for a client. Figured this was the easiest / fastest way to get going with it - force myself to finish a project even if I'm doing some things the long/wrong way.

Trashed all my work several times but I finally put together something reasonable and decided it was finally time to just say "done".

Demo Video (http://www.paragrafix.com/content/default.asp?flocation=Video/&fname=VSV101_320x240.mov&ftype=Video&horsize=320&versize=240&ttext=VuSafe)

It's not great, it's not perfect, but I'm pleased with it as a first effort.

Of course, any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Paul

Looks very effective to me. It has a degree of clarity that many folks look for in advertising.
Nice work!

Paulbo, first project with TS and it looked pretty good!

The gray text colors and gray background near the end was hard to read. The house near the beginning should have had a greater contrast.

Just two things I would have changed to make it better.

Keep posting here I enjoyed it.

Thanks Steinie & Norm! Steinie: you're right on the money - I've updated the ending disclaimer to be easier to read, but I'm not going to change the house image until I'm getting paid to ;)

I had done some Flash animation in the past, and some 3D modeling with AutoCAD 2K (and ages ago with TurboCAD), but this has opened up a whole new world (so to speak). The interface takes a lot of getting used to, though I'm getting better with it every time I start TS up.

As a demo piece it's served its purpose - the client loved it and (hopefully) I'll get going on some of his other products. My next try is to see if I can figure out how to setup a skeleton to deform an aluminum extrusion ... or figure out another way to do it if that fails.

Cheers,

Paul
