Looks awesome Blakeo! I thought it was a photograph at first until I saw the almost perfectly round pieces of coal! :p

Cheeers. Yeah I thought about the charcoal being so uniformly round but decided that I didn't have time to model more natural pieces - and besides, they often are moulded like that so I figured I'd get away with it :)

... Love the effect you got with the foil...

... thank the vray glossy shader for that one, and a combination of two separate bump map and displacement maps. Bump = 'crumpledpaper 2.tga' and displacment map = 'VStripe_BW.tga', both from the standard tS Textures folder.

Hey blakeo, 2 points only...

1) Steinie sais " If Your a bad cook...add flames." :D

2) Your render looks amazing

LOL. I should have added a few more flames - If I'd seen trueSpaced's link I maybe would have! I always burn my burgers on these things  ...and thanks for the  !

As usual the entries this time were fantastic - good topic PK.

If I were the cook the deck would be on fire too :D

Now you know why my smoker grill wasn't in use! Didn't have enough time to model a spigot and a waterhose so the fire marshall revoked my grilling license.
