Classic, good to see the spirit is still there, nice and funny entry you made. I suggest you enter this entry to the thread I made under Speed Modeling Challenge. If not you may run the risk of being forgotten again lol!

I am not sure whether you can move a thread but maybe Norm can help.

Hey Classic, off to a good start. Obviously you've still got some time in hand and have some more planned, but a few comments that may help you consider what to work on:

I don't know if you intend for these to be ore like 'goggles' (e.g. like swimming goggles' or spectacles, but the distinction will have some impact on what you include. For goggles, you would typically have rubber straps and a flexible 'bridge' over the nose, plus some visible connection between the straps/bridge and the eye-pieces. Also, the eye pieces would normally be curved to the profile of the face with a rubber 'gasket' around the edge to ensure a seal between eye piece and skin.

If you're going more down the specs route, then obviously you need decent 'legs' and bridge, but also the easily over-looked nose-rest pieces that hold the frame off the nose and away from the face a bit. Even on specs, the eyepieces (lenses and frames) are typically curved rather than falt but you can possibly get away without that if you angle them slightly on plan.

Hope that all makes sense. Guess I won't be doing glasses for the challenge now...
