Please post your finished entires in this thread, along with a link to your WIP.

This months chosen subject - Nightmares and Dreamscapes (borrowing a TV series title)

Time to get spooky/dark/mysterious/dreamy... lots of opportunity for folks to have fun with atmosphere, sinister/twisted settings, creepy critters, etc

Hopefully this will appeal to folks who are less interested in 'photo-real' rendering and more interested in atmosphere and/or surreal and/or stylised approaches.

For deadline, rules etc, see the WIPS/comments thread HERE (

Good luck - may the creepiest win!

This is more a pre-vis than an actual, but I wanted to post what I have.

Any atmospheric effects were done in Painter program.

James/Dragn - you guys haven't posted a link to your WIP alongside your picture - I know you've done it in the WIP/comments thread but it'd be handy if you did so here too just for easy reference. No real drama if you don't, just don't want you to be at any disadvantage because it's missing.

Well done everyone on some awesome entries.... is a privately held community resource website dedicated to Active Worlds.
