That is really cool. I love the tubing. Great flare. So your project will be a 3d style? or will it be toon rendered? The 3d style here looks great. |

It´s a live action mixed with 3D, kind of "mirror mask" movie, by the jim henson company, a must see movie.
We are going to shoot the characters and then mix them with 3D.
We are working on the hoses, they have to be old and with rust in it,
Soon there will be another picture,
Thanks! |

Can't wait to see the animation Luis!
This is tops!
Get to see the creations from the beginnings and follow through to the animation.
A special treat! Thank you Luis. :)

Just playing devil's advocate here... it seems there are an awful lot of hoses for what must be a very small fuel tank.
Not very aerodynamic with them exposed.
Fun model, but maybe the modeler used to be a plumber? |

It reminds me of a vehicle off of Jax and Daxter. |

jajajajaja! that´s true, we want a lot of hoses to give the impression that it is something made with junk, it would not fly in a real world!
Thanks! |

Pictures look great Luis!
For some reason I can't get the video to play, probably a problem on my end here though, I may not have the specific codec installed for it here, since I don't use WIndows Media Player or Divx.
The design is very nice and engaging. It looks like something one would ride in Dune, and I liked those books and movies a lot.
Fun stuff breathing life into 3d models isn't it?!?:)
Bear in mind that in shared space we can help you ride something like this live with others, not just watch it move.
I don't know if anyone has shown you yet but we now have real scripted artificial intelligence behaviors for animating models inside shared space and offline as well. That may be something you would enjoy too now if you ever have the time to explore it with us. On Tuesday Nights each week we get together in shared space online and discuss/collaborate on many such things, so if you ever have a chance to, come meet us there, I think you'd enjoy it a great deal.
Best wishes on your great work here.

Thanks! I didn´t know that, and I think it´s great to have that possibility of animation and be sure that we will be there on thursday night, and it´s great to colaborate along TS users.
We really enjoy working in these projects, we can explore a lot of techniques to tell stories, and we love Dune too! one of our favorite sci fi books.
I´ll upload the video in some other format so you can see it
Thanks! |

Excellent!:D
We'd love to get together with you on one of our Tuesday Night Meetings in the truePlace Scriptorium portal (#1212). I'll send you directions on how to get there before the meeting starts, I'll send it in the Private Messaging (PM) system here at the forums so you will be sure to get it in time.:)
We have many folks who come there every Tuesday Night and are interested in Animation and Film, some are very talented in those areas as well.
This will be fun, and we'll all enjoy meeting you there and sharing ideas and methods with you.
Thanks!

There is also a meeting tonight in the main truePlace Meetingroom where you once held a presentation already yourself!
I'll be there too tonight, perhaps you can be there as well tonight.
Tuesday Nights are the best place to focus on it all though, there are many talented people who show up every week on Tuesday Nights to discuss such things together.
