Can TS7.5 run on Win2000 ?

tS7 only states support for XP on this page:

http://www.caligari.com/products/trueSpace/ts7/Brochure/specification.asp?Cate=BSpecification

But if you currently run ts7.11 without problem and with directX9 support on player side it might work with w2000.


Hopefully TomG can shed some light on this, I don't even have any w2000 computers to test on, sorry. :o

trueSpace7.5 can be run on win2k. The real question is how well can you get it to run on Windows2000. This os restricts access to hardware, specifically the graphics card. WinXP does not restrict in this way and would therefore run trueSpace7 or 7.5 much better.

Think of Win2k as a gravel road and WinXP as a paved highway. They can both take you to the same place. Question is how will you enjoy the ride? trueSpace7.5 prefers to run on the highway :)
