Hello,

I was looking at a tutorial for making a tire, and all instructions seemed to be something I could do except for using the Shell Tool. Does 5.2 have this feature? if so, where is it located? If not, is there a plug-in that does this?

Thanks for any help.

If it does have it it will be in the same area as all of the other boolean tools such as object subtraction/union/intersection.

Shell was a tS6 feature I am pretty sure. I think there was a third party plugin (the name of which I forget) that did something similar in tS5 but I am not sure on that.

HTH!

I couldn't find a native 5.x Shell tool but Here is a Free TSX (http://tsx.uvworx.com/abandoned.html#etcshell)

I'm still using TS5 and haven't found an integral shell tool (although I admit I'm a bit of an amateur!)

I use the plug-in that spacekdet has linked to, and it generally serves me fine.

that 3d party shell plugin from the ts5 era IS the integrated shell tool in later versions of truespace..:D
