Since most of us use TS in conjunction with other apps....
I have Premiere 6.5 and need some advise. In TS 7.5 I am saving single Targa files. In Premiere 6.5 Application I have two questions.
1) Is there a way to bring all the Targa files down to the timeline at once?
2) Can I change the Speed of ALL the Clips/Targa Files at once?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about version 6.5. In version 7 you just select "import" in the file menu. Then select the first image and check the "numbered stills" checkbox. This will compile the stills into a clip that you can then drag into the timeline. Just like any other clip, you can speed it up, slow it down, reverse it, etc.

I am no expert on Premiere, I have version 6.5 also, this is the way that I can do it... put all of your tga's in one folder, than in the import menu import the folder. From there you can drag the folder into the timeline.

Hopefully if there is another or a better way some one will chime in.

Steinie,

I have not worked with Premiere in awhile, but I would think you can select all the tga files, and adjust the timing for all of them that way.

All the above are correct, select the first image then import into Premiere with 'numbered stills' checked. Drop the resulting clip onto the timeline and treat like any other clip - right click the clip on the timeline to access the pop-up menu where you can find the 'speed' settings, or set by duration if it's easier.

And in the reverse mode I hope to create sequentially-numbered frames from an avi for input to Délé's Vray texture animation script

<quick avi-to-frames protocol test>

Yes that works fine
