I just upgraded from 5.2 to 7.5. (And BTW, it is fabulous to have shadows moving around in real time and worth every penny - thanks to Caligari for a great product)

1st problem: When I switch from Workspace to Model, the Workspace toolbars remain on top, even covering the Model toolbars when I expand the Model window to fill the screen.

Is there a way to cause the Workspace toolbars to appear only in Workspace? I have tried attaching them to the Workspace sides, but they seem to go and stay where they want when I switch to Model - and they want to stay on top.

Thanks in advance.

I've had no problem with custom workspace toolbars and the main workspace toolbar [which they had docked] after making a button to nide/show them, which is placed up on the topbar..you need to make it custom to the toolbars you want to hide. I could post mine, but you would need to do some scripting to make it work on your toolbars..:D
all other standard workspace toolbars should hide on their own..

There is an option in the stack (right column in the UI) under desktop settings where you can choose 'display all toolbars'...or not...:D

EDIT: Mmmm, doesn't work for me but I am sure that is it's function.

I found the easiest thing was to save the model side exactly as I want it (with minimised workspace toolbars) as a tS6.6 layout and set up workspace in a simlar vein and save it as tS7.5 layout.

Now, instead of choosing between model/workspace I simply change layout...much better.

The "Display all Toolbars" option will disable multiple instances of toolbars - such as the default setting in 4-View layour has a toolbar in each Workspace window. Checking the option only displays one toolbar in the Workspace view window that has focus.
