remember edgeloop selection was not a caligari tool, but ck games polytools..and yes did it by deleting vertices in the edgeloop too.

Nope. The tool i am talking about is purely TS. It's about the erease vertices pedand in Workspace. Nothing to do with the polytools. Don't let yourself be confused by the word edgeloop. It's all about deleting an edgeloop, not selecting an edgeloop, or adding a divide loop. You can also implement and select an edgelope edge by edge, and you can rectangle select loops ;)

And just in case that it is still unclear what is meant, here the result after deleting an edgeloop in 6.6/modeler versus workspace. Have fun with reconnecting the edges then when you are so crazy to use the workspace method ;)

Sorry Mike. You are right I did not read properly.
I visited this over weekend and find that on cube that has multiple divisions (10x10x10), selecting middle edge loops does not allow for deletion. Not sure why but I will ask in our beta area.

I found that if I selected the edge loop then converted to verts, followed by using pick'n'paint to deselect the corner verts, then hit the delete tool, the selected verts will delete. The four corner verts on the edge loop seem to be of some importance in this type scenario.

Will see what devs say.

No problem Norm. It was your weekend anyway and you should have been resting and not putting up with childish rants from me. Good that you spotted that it was the corner verts causing the issue.

Cheers
