A macro sweep question

Doing a macro sweep with a circle or an octagon is no problem at all. However, the same is not true (for me) when sweeping an irregularly shaped object. I have not been able to figure out how to position the shape to be swept in relation to the path so that the shape is swept properly. I can position the shape the way I want it in the scene, but as soon as I click on the path in the library everything jumps to a different position. Then I can adjust the path and the shape position as one unit, but I can't figure out a way to reorient the shape on the path. Lookin' for help.....

Never mind. After struggling with this simple issue for two days, I found the solution 15 minutes after I wrote this post.

That happens to me a lot too. Of course, by that same reasoning if you post your question sooner you might answer your own question quicker too :D


I swear I can run spell check a thousand times on an email and still notice some error within 5 minutes of hitting send. A consequence of our faster more convenient society I guess.
