Iam having a ball. MrBones from truebones.com with his hundreds or thousands of BVH motion clips makes it so easy to add motion clips in Truespace 7. Just load one of his bvh clips (or you can use the sports or mikes moves that comes with 7.5), go in to that bvh motion capture skelton via the LE and and insert that ANIMCLIP in to your library. Then load your model ... like dexter, then go in to dexters skeleton. Insert that new bvh animclip you put in to your library next to the dextors current animclip in the LE. Then just grab the wire from dexters animclip and move it over and attach it to the new animclip. You must expand the animclip to have access to the wire. Then you can delete dexters old animclip. So easy! NOW MY QUESTION is ... I want to add several different bvh motion clips from "mikes moves" or "sport" in our library or from truesbones.com to dexter in different tracks via the LE ..... hmmmmmmmm I could add a drunken walking dexter then have him start dancing or whatever ... in just seconds. Wow ... forget my softimage xsi .... this is much easier and funer! Anybody know how to add multiple BVH ANIMCLIPS?

Glad you are enjoying the new bone tools in TrueSpace.

You can add multiple BVH motions, the only thing is you have to copy the .BVH track to the Actors skeleton track once imported.

I suggest saving the BVH clip as an anim clip once imported. That way you dont have to copy and paste the BVH to and from tracks, you just select the skeleton track in your actor. and double click the icon in your anim clip library.

This saves a lot of time.

Cheers

Wow Mr Bones. I just tried it and within literally 1 minute I had added (from the library/BVH-Sport) to dexter a great tennis forehand and then and an overhead tennis swing clip. Then a little other cool stuff I added. So total spent 5 minutes creating dexter to swing at a forehand ball then move to a different area and swing an overhead. Then added some physics. bvh and physics I had so much trouble with in my other animation programs. Not with truespace. Well, if that is not fast easy bvh motion and physics I dont know what is.
