Is there anyway to see the scene in the dimensions it will be rendered in the workspace. Other apps you are able to see your composition the way it will be rendered by the camera. Like you set your dimensions through the camera then it creates a rectangle in the work window around scene representing how it will look in the render. It is kind of a pain having to guess what the scene will look like and doing test renders all the time to figure it out. I can't find any info on this anywhere.

Thanks.

Left click the icon at the top left of the Workspace window - you'll get a pull down menu where you can set the window size. You can then set the window size to be the same as the render size (assuming your screen has a high enough resolution, otherwise you can set a window size with the same aspect ratio as the render size).

If there was a "Best OF" thread I would put this answer in there. This one has bugged me for years!

Same here! (Well, I haven't had TrueSpace for years, but it's bugged me ever since I started using it) I've been doing all of these full screen renders that are nice, but take forever, and my monitor is a widescreen, so that makes it worse! Thanks Bobbins!:D  :D

Very good one this yes - thanks Bobbins. Is it possible to make that window size sticky? As soon as I change another window's size the size I set for that window changes as the window gets smaller and larger. Lock a window size function or something?

Undock the window so it is floating then it will not be affected by resizing anything else. There is no function to lock a window's dimensions - at least not yet.
