Hi! I made a simple stretched cube. I've also made some small cubes that will go around the cube.

Think of it as a mini conveyer belt but instead of a belt it's little rivets (cubes) that go around it.

I would only need to move the rivets enough for the anim to be loopable and give the effect that they are moving around the cube.

How can I achieve this in Truespace 7.5?

The purpose of this is so I can save the model and import it with it's animation in to the 3impact game engine.

Please be aware that I'm completely new to using this version of Truespace.

Thanks :)

Animate one cube going completely around the path and loop it a couple of times.

Copy and paste that cube (the animation will be retained) then in the scene editor/animation editor offset the copied animation a few frames forward.

Repeat until you have a number of cubes all around the path. You'll have to do some maths to get the number of frames required for one cube to go around the path versus the number of cubes needed versus the amount of offset for each cube (such as 10 cubes, 200 frames per circuit so each cube is offset 20 frames from the next).

Now you can set the play range or edit the animation for the scene so that you have only the required number of frames for one cube to get to the starting position of the next - in the example above that would be only 20 frames (actually 19, otherwise frame 20 would be the same as frame 0 and you would get a stutter when looping the animation).

Now if you repeat play the animation you should see a series of cubes all following the path. In reality each cube only moves a certain number of frames then jumps back to the beginning but the effect is of cubes continuously making circuits.
