Hi,
I'm just learning 6.6, and can't find how to use or install plugins, eg EyeZoom.
I see a Tsx folder, but don't find an explanation in the manual, and don't see a
plugin button in the gui.
Also, are the icons editable? I'd like to increase the hue & contrast....or maybe even make them a little larger.
If I search for Plugins in the pdf, I just get info on animation(?), and couldn't find a relevant thread here.
One neat thing did find.....the Icon Helper.....no plugin icon, though.
Thanks!

The icon looks like a wall plug/socket. From memory it's default position is (I think) either on the end of the main toolbar bottom left or the one on the left hand side. Click that, it'll open up a Windows dialogue box where you can browse to the .tsx file you want which will install the plugin. The plugin will appear at the end of the toolbar and you can then move it out to where ever you wuld prefer it to be (in a different toolbar, a new one or just floating about on it's own).
AFAIK the icons in 6 are not adjustable.
Hope thats of some help. |

....one more question....how do you uninstall a plugin???
I accidently installed one twice.
I tried re-naming the plugin....now I have 2 plugin icons....one active, one grayed out.
Also, is there a current list of plugins for each version of TS? I've found a
lot of links that give me a "404" error. :( |

Say, that's two questions! That's ok, we like questions.
First, to uninstall a tsx, hold the shift or control key and drag and drop the tsx icon down to the 'Trashcan' icon (not the Windows Recycle Bin, but it looks similar). When the icon changes to a red x, release the mouse button.
Second, Moonman's venerable tS resource site (http://www.lunadude.com/) lists plugins and versions in a handy chart.
See also Emmanuel's thread on his tsx Archive project here (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=3829) |

Further to the above - note that whilst the Moonman page is an excellent list, a lot of the links no longer work so you may not be able to download many of the plug-ins listed (sadly).
Hopefully Emmanuel's efforts will help redress that somewhat. |

...thanks a bunch! :)
BTW, is the plugins installation (& un-install) info documented somewhere, or
is it just passed down in the tribe from one generation to the next?? :D |

Thanks....it worked like a charm. ;) |
