Using tS 7.5 - I'm not a noobie but I feel like one today!

Here is a problem which probably has a very simple solution but I haven't figured it out. I have set the door's axis at the bottom centre of the object. I set a keyframe for the closed position then rotated the appropriate axis arc on the objects widget to set a second keyframe for the open position. The KF positions are fine however when I play it back the inbetweens go all over the place - see attached wmv file. It may well have something to do with the FCurve tab but everything I tried to do there only made things worse - so if you suggest some FCurve thing please be specific!

(BTW it seems to me I should be able to set up a slider in the LE called "door opener" - only problem is I have absolutely no idea about how to do that. Is there a similar item already about that someone can direct me to so that I might look at it and perhaps figure it out?)

Hi Burnart,

The axis tools work differently between Workspace and Model sides, try using the model side axis tool to move the rotation axis near the bottom of the door.

Right click and Expand the Door's Matrix and put a Scrubber on the correct rotation transformation. Here is an example with the Axis set up in Model as Jack mentions.
